Colombian artist with a 25-year career experimenting with femininity and her own story. Her process seeks not to explain but to generate questions from a place of inexpressibility. Castillo has exhibited her work at numerous museums and galleries in Guatemala City, Colombia, and Argentina, in both individual and collective exhibitions.

Silence, rhythm, and simplicity define her work, which flows with delicacy and vulnerability. Currently, she works in her studio in Guatemala, where painting helps her silence the noise in her story and even that of her country’s torment, which still struggles to find peace.
