Irene Carlos’ shapes, textures, and colors give way to a world of imagination. She started her journey working in textiles and then moved to work with photography, sculpture, and painting. She trained with the recognized Guatemalan master Elmar René Rojas, and today has had more than twenty-five individual exhibitions in countries like the United States, Spain, Guatemala, and other Central American countries.

Irene uses her technique to submerge us in dynamic and enigmatic concepts, which she captures passionately and boldly. Her work is among public and private collections worldwide. She currently resides in Spain where she creates her expressive artwork.
