John Rogozinski
Born in Guatemala City in 1961, Rogozinski is a photographer, philosopher, and architect documenting mundane everyday moments or objects and infusing them with feeling.
His background in architecture, his keen interest in his surroundings, and his natural curiosity allowed him to transform photography from a work tool to an instinctive necessity.
His philosophical scope, which speaks of the harmony between man and nature, translates into his pictures and becomes an aesthetic that stimulates viewers to see themselves as part of the whole, whether in raw nature or a man-made wonder.
Rogozinski has exhibited in national photography and art collectives and has participated as a juror in independent photography contests. He currently lives in Guatemala, where he teaches both architecture and photography, all while enjoying immortalizing moments and telling stories through his photographs.
