Born in 1992, Mérida is a visual artist based in the center of Guatemala City. He studied anthropology, art, advanced painting, and photography. His melancholic and fervent artwork is both skillfully executed and rich in raw beauty.

He has trained with various local artists and exhibited his work in national and international galleries. His remarkable pieces are included in private collections worldwide.
