As happy and energetic as her artwork, Elena M. Garcés (Kika) was born in Guatemala to Cuban guardians and raised in Miami, FL. Garcés is a dynamic artist and designer known for her work with spatulas, canvases, and brushes that capture her cheerful essence.

In 1999, she graduated from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA. In 2001, she traveled to Florence, Italy, to investigate the associations between art and graphic design.

Through experimentation and intuition, she developed her authentic style, which relies on emotion, color, and the manifestations of her mind.
