Born in 1988 in Mexico, Vázquez is a visual artist exploring the complexity of minimalism.

Much of his art highlights the “story in the details" and the everyday beauty that often goes unnoticed. As a result, his images emphasize the dramatic beauty of everyday shapes and textures, telling a story through light, shadow, and tones of grayscale.

After spending a decade honing his photography skills, he started his career as an emerging artist in late 2021. Since then, his work has been in group exhibitions in Japan, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam. His work combines a passion for minimalism, music, and ethnography, reducing a scene to its most relevant elements to create gripping images.

He currently lives in Guatemala, where he portrays the culture of his surroundings through the lens of minimalism.
