Born in Guatemala in 1986, López Durán is a self-taught artist with Asperger’s syndrome whose mother discovered his talent at seventeen. His fantastic perspective captures the most intriguing characters through a strong use of textures, text, and color.

His daring and erratic drawings make the most impressive pictures, which flow with feeling and energy.

He has had many individual and collective exhibitions in Guatemala, Italy, the Dominican Republic, and the United States.
